Boring Family Portraits – Who Says?
Posted by: | CommentsAnother family we’ve photographed for years is the Erlings. And time after time the kids had separate photos taken of just them. So this time they thought it would be nice to get a shot of just Mom and Dad. Well we got the idea that Mom and Dad wouldn’t know what the kids were doing in the background. Here’s the fun shot we came up with. Is this FUN or what?? Who said family portraits have to be so boring??

I Wanna Be Like YOU!
Posted by: | CommentsThese days there are so few role models any more. But once in a while you run into an amazing someone who is, maybe, a neighbor down the street who you find is just the type of person you hope to be one day.
We recently ran into an situation just like that when we created this family portrait in Bismarck. It represents four generations, all whom have great marriages, great friendships between them and above all, have the heartfelt appreciation that what they have is rare . . . . and valuable.
It makes one look at a family picture in a whole new light.
Thanks Alex and Julie. You are truly an inspiration.
